I was in a Tractor Supply Co. store the other day and noticed their new display of Cub Cadet chainsaws. I could be mistaken but I`d say that these are the same saws that John Deere sells, rebadged Efcos. The prices weren`t crazy out of line like you find at JD dealers either. I also have to admit that I like the yellow scheme much better than the green that JD uses.

The string trimmers are most likely made by Ryobi. Cub Cadet is owned by MTD, which also owns Ryobi outdoor power equipment. Ryobi trimmers sell in Lowes. Don't be confused as Ryobi power tools (circular saws, drills etc.) is owned by OWT who now owns Homelite.
