Did some cutting this morning with the 250, Cut all the small stuff to get to the big stuff. It's all red oak. This is some of the wood just piled from the loggers.

had to cut a couple larger chunks off to get around them.
First truckload, I didn't want to overloa
d it cause it's a little muddy there.

Nice stuff for them to leave. I would have started with the 460 and finished with the 250 when I got tired.

Somewhere in the "tropical" zone is my guess too.
Arkansas, most of the green you see is evergreens and pine trees. No green leaves on the hardwoods. It did get up to 50 today, no white stuff. we did have an ice storm a couple weeks ago.

The little saw has plenty of power for it's size but only an 18 inch bar. Plus it is slow in those two larger chunks I cut. the pics really don't show how big some of it is. I bet, we don't get much snow anymore, used to when I was a kid. We just don't have cold winters anymore. But I can see where it would get old moving that stuff around all the time.
Went back this morning with the n460 and gut a couple of the bigger logs. First log all noodled up.
