Did Stihl swap the YY/MM in the MD

I'm pretty sure they have also. I got a new MS460 in July that says 0208 and i looked at my dad's MS361 we purchased in 2005 the one day and it says 0105. I got all confused by this as I'm pretty sure they made the 360 or even 036 in 2001. So I'm pretty sure they changed it as well. And the sticker is located on the handle.

On the handle, so mine reads M.D. 11.08, I guess it's not too old, it's like the B.O.D. on Bud Lights.

Looked at MD on some saw's at dealer today.....I will bet a dollar to a donut that Stihl has switched the YY/MM to MM/YY

Like the 361 I just bought, another one had MD 11.08
MS250 had a MD 09.08......I think the MD has been changed this year.
