Dolmar 6421 big bore kit carborator

Friend is looking to put big bore kit he got on a 6421 Dolmar . I told him there is a man that would open up the carb so he would get the right miixture . I think his name is Pullman does any have contact info for him?

Why not just swap to a Walboro HD12 for a 372?

Direct swap, literally a bolt on and go.

The 6400 carb is the same as the 7900 carb. It’ll also make more power with an oem 7900 cylinder if you can find one.

HD12 uses a plastic choke lever and the linkage hole is too big for the metal 7900 rod so the choke vibrates out.

Just found out he had already put a big bore kit on a 84cc kit ? and using the standard 6421 carb opened up with the meatering screws it still scored. He has another kit from out west its is Nicklesil plated and wants to try it

It’s not the carburetor’s lack of fuel that scored it. It’s more likely it has an air leak or the piston/cylinder are out of round or a tight fit. Or the impulse hose is cracked

Depending on the era of the saw, the H jet may need to be 2.5 turns out
