dolmar ps 341 muffler mod help (pictures)

I have this saw that I have restored and I would like to modify the muffler to have a better performance. I would like to know what changes I can make. if they could edit the photo with paint to show me where I have to cut and the approximate amount. thanks for your attention

if I have to remove any part and assemble the muffler without it they tell me which one

Only thing I would do is remove what I highlighted in Yellow

As shown in yellow and enlarge the hole as desired. I may even make a deflector if I needed 1 also
