Greetings to all, Well I broke down and bought the Dolmar PS-540 today. Thank you to all who replied to my questions about these saws. Once I get her loosened up I'll post my impressions.(although I am certainly not an expert). I did some surfing and found out that Makita has owned Dolmar since 1991,but the saws are still made in Germany. There is really very little else to learn about these saws on the web. Even the manufacturers site dosen't list models or specs! I spoke with a few guys around here that have them and to a man they all had high praise for thier saw. It's got to be better than my old Mac. I guess the only regret I'll have is that I didn't get it off e-bay for $40!!
