70 minutes, low heat with the rack with some fresh split wood was more effective than expected. Cherry was the test subject, so the fragrance was splendid, barkless splits kept it clean.

If this was to be a regular practice, a metal, wire refrigerator rack modified to fit the sweater rack holes is recommended. Clean splits, no bark is best.

I quit using the dryer a while ago, now I just hang mine out on the line, saves a little energy. But if you are putting it in the dryer, make sure to add a softner sheet, don't want that wood to build static, could be a hazard.

Gotta know that stuff, or prospective future washer/dryer operators won't let me close enough to em for them to find out what a wonderful, funny, caring type guy I am. Heck, even the local tavern wenches appreciate a guy in clean clothes every now and then

I've heard over on the chainsaw forum that dishwashers can also serve multiple purposes, but where do I keep the clean dishes while washing saw parts?

A few years ago before I really "new" what I was doing, I miscut a few cords too long for my stove. Thank God someone clued me in on the "wash them in hot water trick" which shrank them just enough to fit. Saved me a lot of re-sawing for sure!
