Hello guys, havent been on in quite a while. New job. I am on my second year with the shaver 165. I did some of the mods on the improvement thread, but when I put on the ranco, I only put it on the blower. I left the solenoid control on the original thermostat, set it at 160, then set the blower with the ranco at 135, 15 degree shut off. In late fall that resulted in a great wood use improvement. My question to you all is, does the low set point result in wood savings when it is cold? I seem to be using less wood, but as it has been unseasonably cold here in tennessee, we are getting shorter burn times now than I remember last winter, also my wood is not as well seasoned this year. I had a knee replacement in may, so I got started a little late. Any ideas or comments? Thanks.....Lanny
