I have an Echo CS-346 that is not pumping oil. I took off the blade and ran it and no oil. I also pulled the hose to the bottom side of the pump and verified that oil was coming up that line. I don't know how to take off the drive clutch - it appears I need to do that to check some type of pump below the drive clutch. I don't have a manual or parts diagram. Ideas?

Thanks

I thought the oil strainer might be blocked, so I pulled the hose off the pump and manually pumped oil. That worked fine.... I really appreciate the link to the parts manual.... so it looks like the clutch spins off in the opposite direction that the motor turns.... How do you hold the motor from spinning?

Thanks!

Remove the plug and bring the piston to have the exhaust port CLOSED(to avoid the rope to be pinched in the exh port ) and insert a starter rope in the spark hole to block the piston.Works great and no damage.
