So, I just picked up a 60” Cannon SuperBar for the 3120. Trouble is I only have a 36” mill. I use to use Superstrut as guide rails for the mill, so I had them on hand. Obviously, this setup is going to be heavy; but is there any reason this won’t work? I plan on adding some cross bracing and my winch to the frame. Thanks.

I don't see why that wouldn't work. Seen all kinds of other home brew concoctions. I personally wouldn't like the added weight, but to each their own. My granberg mkIII was salvaged from a dusty barn and the long rails were missing. I ordered some aluminum tslot from 80/20. item 30-3001 It is a stronger profile than the stock granberg stuff. Either have to order some tbolts from them that will work or modify(grind down) the granberg t bolts so it will fit in the narrower slot. I ground mine down. Works well just in case you ever think about lightening it up.
