Hi guys,
My first post. I bought a used 038 Magnum with brand new bar and chain (because it was a great deal) from the UK and bought it back to the US on my last visit there. Picked it up at Philadelphia, went through Customs and handed it over to the baggage screeners for my next flight. That's the last I saw of it. So some TSA or baggage handler scumbag has it at home now. Anyway, I'm on the lookout for another saw and have a simple question. What is the factory compression on Stihl saws? Should I be concerned if the compression is 130, 140 or 150? The saw won't be used too often but when I need it I want it to be able to do the job within reason. My 42cc Craftsman was struggling recently when cutting up a tree in my yard. I also have a 2 acre lot that will need clearing to some degree next year although everything there is 12" dia. or less if I remember correctly.

Thanks, David
