still having problems with oiling system,the only thing i have not changed yet is the oil pump & service tech is telling me he has never had to change one.

I looked at your previous posts,and I gotta ask:Is your service tech any good he should of had your problem solved already!I have seen oil pumps loaded up with wood after the pick up fell off.I wish myself or one of the other guys on here could have a look at your saw,it really is a simple system.

I just replaced a oil pump on a 029 Monday..........It broke a clutch spring and wore a hole through the pump and it would not pump.....

oil pump problems

took my saw all apart & took pump up to dealer today & sure enough he suggested that i replace the pump and worm gear.i will let you guys know how it goes,parts will take a week or so and i am going out of town for work.will be gone for about 3 weeks so i will let you know when i get back.
