Finally got a free hat!!!

After buying hundreds if not a couple thousand units, I finally started bitchin'. The parts kid went back and scrounged me up a free hat!!
Of course they still had no saws to buy, so I decided to stock up on trimmers, since the idea of a civil war is fading, as is the covid hysteria....

scabbards are much cheaper than hats.
There is not a lot of markup on Stihl equipment , parts are another story lol

If a customer buys a 461, 462, 661 a free hat is no problem. If a customer buys a 170 and wants a free extra chain, free file, free 6 pack of 2 stroke, free gallon of bar oil, free chain sharpening jig, free wooden file handle, free carry case, free raker file, and then asks for a free hat.......

I’ve bought over 250 professional stihl line trimmers over the last 25 years and didn’t get a hat When we got some work done by a hydraulic hose repair company they gave us a heap of hats, shirts, and other stuff for their sponsored race car, it was all top shelf fancy stuff really well made. I still buy stihl, but I enjoy getting hose repairs done a little more than I probably should. It seems like my guys deliberately break hoses now when they need a new shirt
