Firewood Holder for Valentine's Day

i made this firewood holder for my wife for valentine's day. just wanted to share.

Just guessing that Ductape's "undie holders" are actually kindling holders?

Curious what you used to roll the ends? I'm guessing a lot of heat was involved in the process...

hi Steve.

i didn't use any heat to roll the ends! i made a scrolling jig to roll the ends. i made a bending jig to bend the other parts. picture 2 and 3 is the scrolling jig, 4 and 5 is the bending jig. lock them in a vise and use the length of the flat bar as leverage to bend with. the flat bar is 3/16" X 1" flat stock i bought at home depot.

oh and yes, the um..."holders" are for kindling!

Nice job Pat. Just be sure to do the daily bend over and clean-up after you bring in the day's wood to fill that rack. It's part of the daily grind.
