Like a sieve. It looks good, cam isn't broken, o-ring looks good, I took it off and flipped it over. It is leaking through the middle of the cap and not around the edge.

The saw is barely 2 years old with @ 50 tanks of use. I can't image the cap is already worn out. Anybody have an easy fix before I order a new cap $$$ which doesn't appear to be serviceable.

sounds like a vented cap. on ice augers they have a small rubber umbrella valve that lets air in but nothing out. my guess is that yours is either cracked or has something like a piece of dirt or sawdust stuck in it.

$7.95 and in stock, new one obviously fits more snug.
Cheaper than I figured but still, :dizzy: :dizzy: caps
