It has been a chainsaw kinda day. A guy gave me this saw for free and it runs. I took pics but I am sure you have seen the plastic case before. Where do I find the model number on these? It needs a new chain and maybe a new bar. The current bar is 18". That seems long. There is something funny about the bar tip. The sprocket seems to stick out too far. It looks like the chain is riding on the sprocket instead of the bar. I will post pics later.
This looks to be it:

Homelite Super 2 006.JPG Hmm this be all I got. The only thing that even looks like a model is the tiny 246Y under the UL logo.

EDIT: Sorry it is so big but if I did a thumbnail, the dang thing was tiny.
The only new production bars I am finding in this mount style is Oregon's A061 double guard. Link to site sponser Left Coast supplies. http://leftcoastsupplies.com/product/double-guard-91-bar-gm-holes-4/

Thanks Al. It took me a little bit to get it open but I did. The old filter is shot and for some reason, there is a hole in it.

I got a real good deal on a 12" bar and I should be able to get a 48 drive link chain for it locally. It is the Oregon bar the the A061 mount I need.
