I've been telling people on here that I was going to get a 346xp for some time now. I'm sure that after awhile some of you started saying yeah right, uh huh, sure. Well I finally got it yesterday.

I put it together and just had to try it out. I didn't have a tree to cut up with it so I decided to cut some cookies. I'm not a cookie cutter but it would let me know how fast the saw is. I tried it out on some year old 8" oak first. It sliced through it really fast. After a couple of those I got a 12" piece. I was impressed at how fast it cut through that too. If it speeds up after a few tanks of gas it's going to be awesome. Now I need to limb out a tree so I can see how it handles. From what I read I think I'll be impressed in that area too.

I'm glad to be a member of the 346XP club.

Thanks Mike. I haven't used mine yet in the real world but if you get one I bet you won't be disappointed.

This 346XP joins the stable of a 372XP, 359 and a Makita 401. This is the last saw I'm buying and I don't care how much the wife begs and pleads for me to buy another one. ;)

Yup welcome I am too after seeing an oe346 in action years ago I was flat hooked on the little hot rods I wanted one real bad since then.

Then when I finally got around to getting one its now 50cc and really glad I got it no regrets whatsoever!

Oh yes run it and it gets better and runs smoother and starts easier its my goto saw now my back and shoulders just love using it fact its just a baby 372 imo. :)

I gotta admit I have been stalling on getting a new 346xp, and waiting for something to come along that would also be worthy. Hows come there are never any 346xp's in the trading post?

Good ta hear ya got the little booger finally.

They are wonderfully snotty little darlings aren't they? LOL!!

I'll likely drop some $$$ sometime soon and quit fussing around as well.

Break her in right and go limb up a big Elm.;)

Stay safe!

The difference from tank 1 to tank 10 is like a whole different saw. Just wait. It get even better. It gains more torque as it goes and doesn't bog down as much as when new.

Oh, and welcome to the club! :greenchainsaw:

Congrats! I too just picked up a new 346xp this last Saturday. I can't weight till it's broken in. I know I'm going to love this saw almost as much as my 372. The power to weight ratio on this saw is awesome. Enjoy your new saw--I'm enjoying mine.:greenchainsaw:

It seems like everybody loves the 346xp and its redheaded sister.

Does anybody have a big tree that I can borrow? I have to warn you though that I won't return it in the same condition that I received it in.

Here's a couple pics of the 346. Don't let that green cap fool you. It had the non-cat muffler installed on it when I received it.

If I put a pic of my mug on here you guys would be all over me for breaking your computer screen. :D I will put a pic of my granddaughters.

Really fun trim and limbing saw.

The fast up and down makes me feel younger and more athletic than I really am. That is what I like about motors, I think.

Most fun saw to use, EVER! Hands down.

....but the Dolmar cheerleaders seem immune to that kind of feelings and argument!
