I was just wondering what everyones thoughts are when buying a grinder and grinding wheel for grinding carbide tips on a sandvic cutter wheel. Should I purchase an angle grinder or bench grinder and also which brands would you recommend? Please feel free to direct me where to buy such items.

Grinding Sanvik teeth

When grinding your teeth use at least a 1 hp double end bench grinder.
Put a aluminium oxide (grey) wheel on one end and a good quality silicia carbide (green) wheel on the other.
First relieve the steel under the carbide with the grey wheel then dress up the carbide tip with the green wheel.

or just let us retip them for you. no hassels, no mess. You can ship upto 150 teeth in a flat rate box. $6.75 each tooth.
