To me, hard to believe 46 already. Enough of the depressing news onto the good stuff. Mother nature delivered me a birthday present a couple of days early. The weather here took a swing for the better and melted just about all of the snow that had me sidelined from making wood this winter. I was able to drag my splitter from the shed yesterday and haul it to my sacred "firewood processing facility" (being politically correct). To continue cutting and splitting wood I have piled up from last year. Although I wasn't able to cut much this winter due to the snow I was fortunate to have enough on hand where I could take it easy on my chainsaw. This wasn't by choice, I'd rather been cutting, I know you all understand where I'm coming from. So now sit back and enjoy a few snapshots of where I will be celebrating my birthday, In the woods

Happy birthday dude...!

Mine was the 12th and I feel like I'm still in my late 20's!! Keep your health up and eat right and you'll do fine! Cool pics...and a heck of a stack you got there. Awesome location also...I'd love to live there!

Happy birthday! Great looking wood pile and equipment you got there. Looks like your set for next winter. I will be 40 in September, so I try to do as much as I can to stay in shape but doing firewood always lets me know that I am not younger any more.

Happy Birthday, reaperman!

Great pics and very nice stacks!

Maybe I'll be lucky enough to have some wood to process on my birthday - that sounds exactly like how I'd like to spend my next one.

Happy B-Day Reaperman. That setting looks great. Nice looking start on next years woodpile. I love Minnesota. Can't wait to get to the boundary waters in June. Almost headed that way in early 20's. Wife said she couldn't take the winters. Enjoy your cutting!

Happy B-Day reaperman! Like everyone said, what a cool way to spend your day and definitely a beautiful stack and pile of "to the bone" warmth. Thanks for sharing the pictures of your spot!

Happy B Day! those woods look very grousy? I type this with the hound sitting beside me we are both Trigger happy be it a saw or gun:)
I turned the big 40 recently my sister called me a 40 year old Married man and I could not be happier.

Happy Birthday!

I am trying to figure out how you pull the splitter with the chain saw. Or, is it the other way around?
