Have I got the wrong piston ring clamp?

OK - so I asked for a piston ring clamp for my 029 at the Stihl shop last week, and this is what they sold me:





It doesn't look like the one in the manual, and it certainly doesn't aid in clamping the piston rings while manoeuvering the assembly into the jug!

Do I need to go back to the shop and exchange for the correct part specific for ring compression on an 029/039? The official part number is apparently: 1127 893 2600, whereas I seem to have been sold 0000 893 2600.

you need the 1127 specific part to make it easy.

I've used zip-ties when the going got rough and I didn't have access to the proper clamp.

Actually I saw the flag before the bird (must be something psychoanalytical in that).

I expected it to be an Aussi flag, then didn't see the extra star, and only then realised it was a kiwi!
