I'm looking for some recomendations on what is the best heat exchanger you have installed.
I'm looking to get the most heat transfered into the shop. ( space not an issue)
I have found out some surprising facts with previous experiments.
I have a heat exchanger that is 48 x 40 two row that puts out less heat than a 25 x 33 exchanger that has 3 rows.
Both are fed with 1/2 inch line.
The 48 x 40 have two very strong fans behind them and cool it off very quickly. I have installed the 25 x 33 in front of the 48 x 40 and use the same fans and it does not restrict flow and seems to throw surprisingly lots of heat.
I have a old suspended heat exchanger that is approx 24 x 20 that originally had 1 1/4 inch inlets that I am feeding it with 3/4 inch pex heat is not as good as I expected.
I have also hooked up the Bus radiator that is 6 inches thick and approx 28 x 32 This Radiator pukes out the heat steadily.
What have you found the best factory built heat exchanger???
3 row 4 row large inlets???
Thanks for reading this long post.
