That's CAD right? So about 1000 USD, which sounds about right. You might want to consider upgrading at the dealer for a 24" B&C. I run my 261 with a 20 and it is great, and the 261 is quite a bit less expensive.

Sounds like you are on a 1 saw plan so get the 400, upgrade the B&C and you will be set for most everything.

My 400 came with a 25” bar. It was $10 more than a 20. I traded in the standard bar for a light es and paid the difference

I personally use ES light bars unless its under 20" and then who cares. Worth the extra cost IMO

A saw with a decompression valve (such as the MS 400) is easier to start than one without. It makes a significant difference.

I started with a 291 and now run a 400.
