Hi everyone

Got a guy selling a Jonsered chainsaw, but he says he can't see what model it is.
He lives miles away, too far for me to go check it out, so.............

Can anyone identify this Jonsered saw, from pictures? :)
See attached :numberone:

Provided that brake is original to the saw, I will pretty much guarantee that is an early production 630.
thanks for the answer, I was thrown off by the old style "fuel cap" and rusty brake.
I think you might be spot on though!

Might have a go at this one, see if I can get it running again. 630s are nice saws, unlesss someone can convince me otherwise? :)

Yep if the price is decent...go for it.....even an early 530 is a good saw.
I’m a bit rusty on the Johnny’s now, but I don’t remember ever talking about a 530 back when I was on a lot. Same frame as the 630? The 520sp was nothing special, but have never come across a 530. Lay it on me Robin. 😊
