I am going to get 2 Husqvarna demo models one requirement is it has to be a pro modle. 500 or 300 series.
I am thinking 550xp and 576xp at.
Potential customers are walnut fellers and tree service. Being mid west we have a mix of trees but our local area is mainly hard woods. Oak, hickory, maple, ash, elm, you get the point.
What would you get for a demo units and why?

Those sound like good models.

Most people who haven't tried a 550 will not believe a saw that small and light can cut so fast.

The 576 is definitely not publicized enough and they do have very nice power.

That is what I was thinking . the 372 and 395 have been around and it is easy to get good feed back from many who have ran them. One walnut guy loves his 576 AT, thinks it is almost perfect for walnut.

Tree service=4 series and the 365/372 then the 390 or more likely 395.

Cutters 372, 390 with a few fans of the 576. Some of the older ones still running 395s.

The 5 series fell flat here. Very little interest.

Price point on the 4 series in a bulk buy puts the 5 series in the bad investment range for ground crews.
