Ok so um using my phone ri post reply whatever how in the world can I go back to a thread I start and change it to sold or whatever the case might be?

Try going to Equipment Forums, then Tradin' Post, then Tradin' Post Info, then read
How to change Classified Prefixs.

At the top of you for sale/wanted to buy post you will find "Thread Tools". Click there and you can change the heading to "Sold!". Save your changes and you are done.

If you're using a mobile device with Tapatalk app, their is no way to change a for sale ad to sold.
The tools aren't their at the top of the page.

Thats kinda what I thought but im computer stupid I swear my 6 or old knows more about them than I do
