The PTO on all Stihl saws are proprietary (at least all the saws I have split to replace). The flywheel side bearing of the 066 should be a 6203-C3. It can be purchased at your local bearing supply house. I would purchase a name brand SKF, or FAG (there are probably many more brand names). I just split and put together a restored 066 later edition. I bought the PTO bearing at the dealer, and the flywheel side at the bearing house as mentioned. That is not to say there are no aftermarket PTO type bearings available. I have not been able yet to pull the trigger on any. Most of the threads I have read from reputable builders here have weighed in on the side of OEM bearings on the PTO side. Just my observation.Ill have to check them out! I was reading that the PTO bearing is proprietary, but looks like theres a plethora of aftermarket bearings out there
I have no experience with aftermarket PTO bearings in any saws I have rebuilt or ones that I am running.
I intend to try a PTO bearing on a build I have coming up, perhaps if I can remember I will report on it then.
