Homelite C51 carb on C9?

I have a good carb from a c51, it's a Tillotson hl-141b. Can I run this on a c9 which had a tillotson hl-141a carb? I figure it will work but wasn't sure if there was a huge difference from the a, and b models of these carburetors. Thanks

Strap it on, it will prolly work.



The -a -b and so forth were mostly revisions of the same design.

I've got and old C-9 that has a C-72 cylinder and piston on it, and it runs just fine with the C-9 Carb. I bought a C-5 parts donor, and it had a 141-A on it. I can't think of any reason that the swap won't work.

I love the sound of the old homies.
