Honda 6.5 hp vs. Suberu Robson

OK. So this is about the engine on a SuperSplit HD, but it does not really matter what the engine is for.

The Suberu is half a hp more and about $100 less.

The Honda is a Honda (GX of course).

I'm quite torn.

The Robin is a fine engine, if not equal to the Honda, it is darn close. I have 3 of each on various pieces of equipment and other than replacing some gaskets from the ethanol, [both brands by the way], neither have required more than the usual oil changes, air filter maintenance etc.

If I could save a Ben Franklin on the deal I would be more than happy to run the Robin!
