Hot water blowoff

Noticed pop off valve blew a couple times this week.Any idea what might cause this ? aqua stat is new this year and working properly.

Admitting this is not my area of expertise: With no high temp situations, would thermal expansion may be worth considering?

By pop off do you mean t&p valve(temp&pressure)? They have been known to fail. you can test it with a pan of water on a stove.

maybe the bladder in your expansion tank has failed causing it to fill with water. i have seen that happen before. good luck. kevin
