How many chains from a 100' spool

I am thinking of buying bulk chain and making my own. Chains will go on a 372xp,455 rancher,jonsered 630 and a makita 6401. How many chains can one make (in general) from a 100 ft roll if you make 18,20 and 24 in chains. Is the savings worth the investment in the tools used to make them?

There are 1640 drivers on a 100 foot roll of 3/8... You can do the math....
