Guys,
I picked this saw up recently for cutting some larger rounds
But....it's just a little more Saw that my back will handle
It's in good shape with a new 24"husky bar
Starts and runs perfect!
I bought it without thinking about the size and weight. ...
I was very impressed by how it cuts and How it Sounds...Wicked!!!20150520_173951.jpg20150520_173956.jpg20150520_174154.jpg20150520_174140.jpg20150520_174101.jpg20150520_174011.jpg

It's Not a show piece...But it's Nice!
Has the heavy av springs,I don't know if they are factory or if this is a 288xp vs a lite for sure

Now....I'm a Noob to the whole hp saw thing
I just enjoy cutting and need something bigger than my 026

I'm looking for a 60 to 70 cc pro grade saw
Husky or still
I'm located in Western NC
I'd love to land a
262xp
272 xp
562
Or
Stihl 20150520_173951.jpg20150520_173956.jpg
441
Or other 60,70 cc still
I've got lots of pics if needed and can also do a video

Thanks for looking and God Bless

I have a hu 365 that I will trade ya. saw runs great has 160 psi comp. runs great I have a 24" on it right now. also you can turn this saw into a 372 by just pulling the side plates off cylinder and grinding out the baffle. rattler362 could take care of that for ya. if u are interested pm me

again, its a 262xp with a 261 chassis /case ....so yes, the 3 shoe clutch is included... the 262xp and 261 cylinders are identical I think, and the 261 used a dished piston to detune the saw. my dad has a 261 so I might play with that one eventually and investigate whats inside of it. I think the 257 cylinder is different, but I don't know for sure....

mine has an oem piston and new caber ring....with squish optimized by adjusting the case I had 165 psi compression without breakin

sorry to the OP to threadjack, but we are keeping you post at the top until skippyshins gets here :)

Guys
What a response!
I got a really good deal on it,one of the reasons I jumped on it before I researched the size and weight
She runs really good and sounds great.
Original cylinder and piston from what I can tell...but I'm a noob
I am taking it over to rattlers maybe tomorrow for a good inspection
I'll be able to post more info on it then

I'm really looking to get a light saw to use that won't cause so much havoc with my back
