I am helping my uncle out by fixing up his saw. He is missing a couple parts on his tank...lol I guess this might be the reason it is leaking fuel..

The diagram shows 2 part numbers.

503 60 04-01 (Filter Plug)

501 62 98-01 (Valve Plug)

What part do I need?

I believe you need both for it to work correctly.

Better you caught it now than in the future when you notice fuel running down your arm while sawing branches above your head.

Having a primer bulb, your saw is a later model that came with the one-piece vent.

Good tip in the video you found. The nipple goes out. I put a piece of old fuel line on the nipple and ran it up to the carb box, hoping the line will keep it from being lost should it come out again.
