Bought an almost new 365 which has been sitting, runs perfectly, be perfect for a small wood saw.
Pulled the muffler off to look at piston, and there is only a tiny wee opening on the muffler. The saw is very quiet, so wondering if it's worth doing anything to the muffler? Is it worth drilling a couple of extra holes? If so, where and what size?
Or am I dreamer??...lol.. it did have a wire mesh over the muffler centre, so pulled that off..I'm guessing its a spark arrestor?..no chance of forest fire here in NZ..rains too much!
Just seems to me with it being so damned quiet it may gain something by being opened up a little...if not I'll enjoy it the way it is.
Cheers all
My first Husky, although its a small one, I'm really impressed with the build quality, balance etc.
