Husqvarna 257

I have a Husqvarna 257 that I am considering selling. It is a great saw and has given me no problems. I just don't need it anymore, as I have more saws than I need. The saw runs great, has great compression and has a muffler mod. It sports a 20-inch bar and I think that I have two new chains for it.

Does anybody have an idea what a fair price on this saw would be?

Nice shape. Nice 357's go for $350-$400 so maybe $300? Just my uneducated guess.

I believe that guess is quite optimistic, the 257 isn't really comparable to a 357xp.

I have one..in slightly better condition ...wih great decals..NOS clutch cover...new 18 inch bar and chain.......and I couldnt get the $250 out of it that I have into it . Ebay is a funny thing too....I have seen crappier ones than ours go for $300 on one day.....but then really nice ones like ours get stuck at $200-$225 on another day . The 257 is more compared to the newer model 359..not the 357xp .
P.S..... great 257 you have there...wish I needed another
