I called the factory and verified it was indeed a Saturday saw.

Im just curious, why do you say its a Friday saw?

If it fell apart within a year, it's a Friday saw. Everyone has their mind on the weekend and half the screws are either completely left out or under torqued.

Monday saws are almost as bad. Folks coming onto the line after a weekend bender. All the screws will be there but seldom will they be torqued.
