Husqvarna 555 build 2012 08th week.

This saw was bought used and has EL 44 B Carburetor,does this saw have issues with factory parts?Doing a rebuild and want to know if it needs any updates. Help is Appreciated.

You could upgrade to a El 48 but if it's not having any carb problems I would leave it be. What's the reason for the rebuild?

It was scored,bought it used off ebay. Very clean saw. Haven't found the cause yet might have been fuel,idk. Intake boot looks good no signs of leaks I will vacuum check after new piston and ring show up from baileys.

Very good point, if l remember the gasket was fitted dodgily from factory. Pressure/Vac and a squirt of detergent in a spray bottle with water may help you find the golden clue.
