Greetings:

I have just recently joined this forum and have a question about a chainsaw. What are the specifications for a Husqvarna model 50. Specs like weight, HP, cc's, etc. would be appreciated. Thanks.

All the Best,
John K. Emmons

I dont have exacts, but that saw is about 12lbs dry powerhead only, 49-50 cc, and about 3hp. A pretty durable saw, you still see a good number of them in running condition.

Huskyman,

Thanks for the quick reply. how would you compare the model 50 with, say a Husky model 350 or 55? Would the power to weight ratio be better or worse, do you think? Thanks.

It is about the same power wise to a 350, the 350 being a hair lighter and less vibration. The 55 will have slightly more power and is about the same or a little lighter than the 50. I have a 55 and could not be happier with it. It is 53cc and the powerhead weighs 11 lbs dry
