Hello!
I still have the stock trimmer head on my Husqvarna 543RS trimmer (40cc engine with 1.5kw). End of last season and this year I've noticed that it goes through a ton of trimmer line. My estimation is, I used about 15 meters on some 500 - 700 square meters if that says anything. Anyhow, the terrain is rather bumpy and the dispenser button gets bumped a lot, causing the line to advance and I rarely get to wear it down from use. Anyone had this issue with stock heads (the one with blue button, something like T35 or one of those models)?
Maybe stretching out the spring a bit could stiffen it up?
Or change the head altogether?
I've used variety of different lines, all within the correct size range (2.4mm mostly) and all behave the same, so it must be the trimmer head itself I guess.
Cheers
