Well, I finally came across one of these at an auction.

Will be usefull on teaching folks how to sharpen a chain. Oregon put their price a little high for my tastes.

Harley, you are one of my favorite DOBs.
So crude, but so willing to share info and teach.
Man after my own heart.
Not so much about saws for me. I'm here to learn, but in my craft, I take some similar practices into play.

I'm seeing the main contour under the leading cutting edge, and I also see the lower cut. What I recognise as the "gullet" angle to help with chip clearance. Mine are a bit more pronounced for right or wrong. I tend to take a bit steeper swipe down low for chip clearance. Has worked well, and was how I was taught by my grandfather. What is your opinion?
