I was splitting some wood today and ran across some little guys burrowed in a half hollow piece of oak. I don't know my insects and would like some help. Let's hope the pictures show up well, all I had to take them was my phone.

Thats what I thought, but they are about 5x bigger than any grub ive ever seen. I thought maybe they were a special breed?
