Found this on the net today. Not sure if anyone has ever used it but seems pretty useful. The weights are a little different form the sherrill log chart but that was also from a very old publication. Anyone has a decent log weight calculator let me know how a few of the wieghts match up.

Dont knock my saddle it can hold more then your truck... and thats a good thing.

That's the one I use for estimating crane work and blocking scenarios on large trees as well.
