Burn wood, posts. I know around here you mention locust and everyone is all over it. Demand is location driven imo. Have to put some feelers out and see what you can get for it.

do a search for local mills, then call them and see what they are buying.

Honey locust has way too many thorns for me, don’t even want them on my place.

Depends on the type of honey locust. The stuff around here gets throws but not those big honking cluster thorns you see in other parts of the country.

We get the big honking cluster thorns here in NE Kansas. Nasty stuff

Yep. Huge clusters.. things nightmares of made of.. never go in the timber at dark... unless you want to be a pin cushion.
I guess they burn off easy though? I saw a video where some guys burnt off all the thorns (probably with gas or diesel fuel) before cutting
