Picked up a few saws (needing work) from a dealer that was closing down (7 saws, stihl, husky, echo and shindaiwa). Only small saws, but that's something I lack. 2 of them were "easy projects": stihl ms180 and shindaiwa yb411. Being used to stihl pro models, I first checked out the 180. I was surprised how cheap it seemed. Then checked out the yb411, seems really well build. I will probably keep the Shindaiwa and sell the stihl.
Anyone compared these 2 models?
Any info on the yb411?
Anybody ever ported/MM a yb411?
In case I want to improve the ms180, any other P&C that can be fitted with some Dremel Work (I can get cheap stihl P&C from germany)?
I also got a ms170 and a 190 in the lot. What parts are interchangeable with the ms180 (I also already have a few ms200 parts)?
I also got a Husky 36. What is it worth compared to the others (has several parts missing)?
What would you guys do with these saws?
