The much anticipated ms500i is suppose to make its debut in the USA in December. What day? Winner gets nothing, so play fair.
But it's still a Sthil, who cares! You forgot overpriced. In the name of honesty, it was not easy to summarize the first test in the link above. MS 500i was a chainsaw that lacked references. It has power almost like a 90cc while weighing as (kind of) a 60cc saw. This, combined with a cruel acceleration, means that the saw ends up in a completely separate class that has not existed until now.
Husqvarna will answer back with a shidassconglomerate quickly slapped together fuel injected saw.But it's still a Sthil, who cares! You forgot overpriced.
Not to shabby. Like Chipper says it has a primer bulb. I got to run it/ first cut/brand new out of the box at our GTG. The owner didn' have a good chain with him so we threw a new stihl rm on it that I had. Everyone that ran it liked it.What’s an MS500? Sounds like a big saw.
I’ll buy one if it’s not ugly like the new huskies.

They did put a square ground on it later but I didn't get a chance to run it.They liked the chain .
Too bad you guys didn't have a 28/32 and a nice RS chain for it, sounded like it wanted a lot more.
I bet it was flying through the wood. They did put a square ground on it later but I didn't get a chance to run it.
Just a smooth as the 462. Nice quick throttle response.I bet it was flying through the wood.
How were the vibes compared to the 462, smooth saw?
