Finished up the 5 trees. That is the total of it...well, I have split/stacked maybe a 1/2 cord. I am guessing it at two plus cords, only 2 of the trees were what could be called 'good size'
I started that pile figuring I would hand split it. This stuff is a lot harder to split than the previous ones from last spring, Almost every piece has a knot or crotch and it "strings". Spent two days working on it and finally drug the splitter over (homebuilt, slow, underpowered). Finally got enough room today to get it in behind the pile and the stacks.
