Hello all, I recently bought a jonsenreds saw an the stickers r missing from it, trying to figure out what model it is. It's black over red and the metal Id sticker reads 82-0092-53. I'll post a cpl pictures too. TIA

Yep Bob nailed it....very, very early 630....I mean very early.....61 point something cc.....depends on who did the math....

Can the old silver tag be interpreted as 1982?
If so it would be a first year production saw? And predate the 670 and 625 by about 5 years.

Well it says "82" in bold.........likely before the regular Husky code I 'spect....

You don't see that many 630s with the cast in 'S" in the name

Mine sports a Husky choke lever also you do not have throttle high idle lock but the saw starts easy.I lent mine out and the guy must have pulled the choke lever out of the carb hole and then tried to bent the piece out and snapped it off.I cut thousands of cords of spruce with her and she did a great job.

Little choke pull trivia.......when using a Jonsered carb from a 670, 630 or 625 on a husky framed saw from this family you can flip the stock Husky pull upside down so it snaps into the carb lever in the opposite direction from what was intended. This works fine and you end up with both the regular thumb actuated Husky high idle lock and the Jonsered internal high idle carb mounted system......
