I am assuming I have debris in the vent as it leaks oil out of the vent when sat and down the clutch cover and into a nice little puddle. Other than emptying the tank during storage I cannot seem to get it to vent as it should, when stored. I have tried lightly rummaging inside it with a pin/0.5mm steel pick but to no joy. From what I can tell from rummaging inside, it is a ball vent with what I am guessing is a spring to push the ball back to seal the vent? Or am I wrong? Could be completely wrong as I am no expert at guessing from picking?!?!?
Any advice as to how to get this sorted would be great? If not I'll just leave it as it works fine when in use, just a pain when storing.
