James knows his ****! If by chance that piston is for a 66 u should get one! Ton of power and high compression with just a BGD(mine was 215lbs)
If it for a 372 you should get one of those too.

That ipl is for my 1990xp, 1985 ipl had 2 different ipls and 2 different numbers on the intake block.
But Same number on my 1985 266se cylinder as well
This new piston is exactly the same dimensions as a 372xp I have in a box…except this is a single ring and the 372 is double.
Makes sense. Barrett’s has the parts changing in ‘87

the retired dealer I got my parts from got those from Baileys. He included them in his builds back then. I go over to his place to talk saw stuff every now and then. He’s 81
So 371/early 372.
