Started building my splitter last Friday. I've built the axle and tongue to be the reservoir and should hold 13 gallon. Gotta weld my pipe fittings to it, then I plan to put water in it and put about 5psi on it to check for leaks. after that I can put the I beam on it, it's cut and waiting. I'm Building this out of scrap steal, a 8 horse Kohler I rebuilt last fall for a mower that I threw out, and a 4x20 cylinder I got cheap at an auction. So far it's cost $59 for some welding rod, the hitch, some grinding wheels, and the cylinder. My cousin has a scrap yard so I've done some tradin for the steel and spindles.
Here's where I'm at so far
