I don't even run a 16" on a 200T. If I need something bigger than my 14" in a tree, I will either borrow a saw from my buddy who does run a 16" or bring up the 361. The saw balances better, especially one-handed, and revs better with the shorter bar. You're down a lot on power with your 192, so I certainly wouldn't recommend the bigger bar.

My 192T came with a 14" bar and quickly changed to 12" A 16" is a bit to much for a poor little 192T. A great saw but it is what it is...a light pruning saw.

Light, nimble and well balanced,

those are the trademarks of the MS192T. I'd wager the 16 inch bar and chain not only takes some of the saw's power, but ruins the its balance and handling in the process.

My old 192T came with a 14 inch bar, had I kept it, or should I ever acquire another, it will definitely have a 12 inch E-Light bar.

Take Care

12" is perfect on the 192, a guy I work with runs a 12 on his 200t. I opened up the muffler on my 192 and put a 12" and it screams for 30cc's and stays in the bucket much longer than it used to before I haul out the 372 now.
